Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay: $23-$25/hour

Position Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations for a growing organization in San Diego. This role will partner closely with the HR Director and leadership team to manage recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in supporting a fast-paced HR department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment workflow, including resume review, interview coordination, offer administration, onboarding, and new hire follow-up
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and department leaders throughout the hiring process
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruitment databases, and employment postings
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee and visitor HR inquiries
  • Support onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a positive employee experience
  • Assist with planning and coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and audit personnel, medical, and payroll files to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director and department as needed
  • Assist with special projects and other HR-related duties

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources, Recruiting, or HR Administrative experience
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience maintaining employee records and HR databases preferred
